Come Out One and All!

Calling all those who love to sing or are musicians, to attend Choir practice on Wed., April 10th at 2:00 p.m. If you play a musical instrument and would like to participate during Sunday’s Worship Service, please speak with Debra Northey.


Knitting & Crocheters!

Our Trinity Knitting Group next get together will be Wed., April 17th and then every two weeks on a Wednesday. Enjoy some pleasant socializing, a cup of tea with some sweets and of course a little knitting or crocheting. Please join us at Trinity United Church in the Fellowship Room!


Harmony UCW…

Will be meeting on Thursday, April 18th at 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Room. Guest speaker is Steve Oliver and will be speaking on Bobcaygeon Housing. All are invited to attend!


DISCUSSION GROUP: "THE BIBLE BEYOND RELIGION"

A discussion group on “The Bible Beyond Religion" will meet at Trinity for five Thursday mornings, beginning the first Thursday after Easter, April 4th, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Room. The author is Don Murray (brother of Walter) and this is the final of five books he has written to help us find meaning beneath the surface of stories. Some have signed up to attend this group, and some have a copy of the book. All others, with or without the book, are welcome to attend.


Inside Broadview Magazine

The Broadview focuses on Spirituality, Social Justice & Ethical Living. The articles share United Church news, perspectives and truths that matter from other Church Communities. They recently won the “Best Special Interest Magazine Award”! For an annual cost of $30. (incl. tax) you receive 8 issues delivered in the mail. You can renew your subscription or become a new subscriber by e-transfer to Trinity, a cheque (payable to Trinity United Church) or cash to Susan Hachey or Sue Zilke Ward. Payment deadline was March 31st. You can find Hope & Inspiration for Today’s World inside The Broadview Magazine!


Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank

Our family numbers are still increasing with more children.

The following food items would be welcome:

Juice Packs, cereal, Kraft dinner, rice, canned fruit juice, canned vegetables, pasta sauce in jars, peanut butter, canned stews, canned tuna, meat, canned fruit. Our Food Bank box is located in the narthex, or you can drop off items at our grocery store boxes. Your help is greatly appreciated!


Did you know …

that both nursing homes (Case Manor & Pinecrest) are much more accessible these days! You no longer need to set-up appointments. I’m sure the residence would enjoy a visit.


‘After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program

in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.


ECORC Spring Annual Meeting

Planning is underway for our ECORC Spring Annual Meeting and registration will be opening soon! We will be gathering at Cambridge Street United Church in Lindsay on Friday, April 19th beginning at 10 a.m. and on Saturday, April 20th beginning at 9 a.m. We are excited to have Rev. Roger Janes from Stewardship as well as Rev. Tori Mullin, our new Growth Animator joining us in-person! I'd like to share this with you. Teamwork Makes the Stewardship Dream Work: The Rev. Spring Concert with the Kawartha Male Chorus
