Mildred Kerr
Mildred Kerr passed away on Tues. September 15th. Her “Celebration of Life” was held at Hendren Funeral Home in Bobcaygeon on Sat. Sept. 26th at 11:30 a.m. Let us continue to keep the Kerr family in our thoughts and prayers, as they go through this difficult time of loss.

What a grand event we had at last Sunday’s service, with our special guest, The Right Rev. Dr. Kimberley Heath, Moderator of the United Church of Canada and many from neighboring United Churches. Many thanks to all who made this such a special day. Thanks to Bob for his leadership and to Debra and special guest flutist, Diana Scates, the choir and all the other musical groups within our church for wonderful music. Thank you to all who helped with lunch, from setting up the hall and Friendship Room, to preparing and serving the delicious lunch, helping in the kitchen and cleaning everything up afterwards. Special thanks to Nicolette for yet another delicious cake. Special thanks to Jim Telford and helpers for picking up and installing a new dishwasher. Thank you to Lee Ascenzo for help with audio and to Dave Ross our official photographer. Many thanks to all who help make this such a special day.
Fun Ukulele Opportunities!
Ukulele practices resumed on Wednesday, September 9th at the church from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
The Monday Group started again on September 14th at 7:00 p.m. at my home. Beginners are encouraged to come on Mondays. Come and join the Fun! Please let me know if you would like to give us a try by calling 705-738-9633 or email (suejpepper@yahoo.ca).

CHOIR AT TRINITY!
Choir has started up again and we meet every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. If you love to sing, come out and join us! Looking forward to seeing you. Choir practice is cancelled for next week on Thursday, October 1st.
Trinity Congregation has been invited…
to attend an outing to Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre on Tuesday, October 20th. We will be meeting at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church to go to the Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre and heading to Abby Gardens in Haliburton, where we’ll enjoy lunch together at 12:00 noon. If lunch isn’t in your plans, feel free to meet us at Brooksong Retreat at 1:00 p.m., it’s just a short drive from Abbey Gardens. The drive is about one hour from Bobcaygeon, and carpooling can be arranged for anyone who prefers to travel with others. Just note your preference on the sign-up sheet. There is a sign-up sheet on the Narthex table if you wish to attend.
ATTENTION CHAT GROUP!
Our "CHAT" group now meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Friendship Room. We have an hour of lively and insightful discussions about life, childhood, and more. If you'd like to chat about our world, your experiences, or life-changing events, come and join the conversation. Don't be shy...it's actually quite therapeutic at times!
“THE 4th TUESDAY”
On the 4th Tuesday of the month, at 10:00 a.m. there will be a gathering of people who want to talk about what is on their minds, meeting in the Friendship Room at Trinity. Everyone is invited to attend!
Our UCW Are Collecting the Following:
Our Trinity UCW ladies are collecting Campbell Soup Labels, and grocery tapes from the Bobcaygeon Foodland and Bobcaygeon Independent only. If you could bring them into the church office, it would be greatly appreciated!
Live It Up Trinity and Friends!
Wellness Workshop and Fundraiser for Trinity United Church Bobcaygeon is taking place on Saturday, October 3rd from 9:30 a.m. –12 noon in Trinity Hall. The price is $40.00 per person and you can sign up at Trinity Church on a signup list or email your interest to sheila.cook@invizzen.com. For more information & details see the bulletin board.

Bobcaygeon Diners Club
Come have lunch with us! At Trinity United Church on the second Thursday of each month. The next one will be on Thursday, October 8th. You must register in advance by calling at (705)324-7323 ext. 654 to reserve your seat by Friday noon the week before. Put on by Community Care, City of Kawartha Lakes.
SOLES 4 SOULS FOOTWEAR COLLECTION 2026 UPDATE
Now, we are 9 months into the year, and the Soles4Souls program continues. We are up to 410 pairs of gently used footwear, most of which were donated by Trinity’s congregation. "Christ Church Anglican and Knox Presbyterian” …
are planning clothing giveaway in 2026 on October 23 & 24.
We are in need of donations. Clean, gently-used outerwear (men's, women's, children's) and footwear can be dropped off at Knox Presbyterian, 6 Joseph St. by the parking lot door or any Tuesday morning at Christ Church on Sherwood St. Financial donations are needed to buy new underwear and socks. We also need sturdy hanging racks (loaned or donated).

“After Words Grief Support” …
has moved their group to Aspira Retirement Living at located at 60 West St., Bobcaygeon (Meeting room is wheelchair accessible) (Held in the Library). There are two sessions monthly which are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 2 – 3 p.m. This is being put on by Community Care Hospice Services.
