Ruth Schultz – “Celebration of Life”
Ruth passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 and a “Celebration of Life” will be taking place here at Trinity United Church on Saturday, September 23rd at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
Gerald Harnden
Gerald passed away on September 7, 2023 and a “Celebration of Life” will be held on October 28th 2023 at the Port 32 Shore Spa in Bobcaygeon from 1:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. Let us keep Shirley and her family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Are you a Knitter or Crocheter?
We need people to knit or crochet mitten, scarves, hats for our Mitten Tree. The items are distributed to our community here in Bobcagyeon and Lindsay to places like our public schools, Curve Lake, Boys & Girls Club, Ross Memorial Hospital, A Place Called Home etc. before Christmas.
An Amazing Event
On Sunday, September 3rd, we dedicated the new front entrance doors with a Dedication Service that included a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony followed by a Beautiful Art Sale Fundraiser. Sincere thanks go to Mary Fedy for her hard work planning for the new doors and arranging the celebration. We saw, through Mary’s work, that she is a very talented artist! Mary, Richard and their family members did a wonderful job setting up and running the Art Sale. All proceeds will go to the church to help pay for the doors. Congratulations on such an amazing accomplishment!
A Sincere Thank You
I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, positive energy and offers of assistance during my recent bout with cancer. My vision is back to normal and the Doctors feel that I am on a good path.

Next Sunday, September 24, we will be marking the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation during worship. Please wear something orange!
Ukulele Practice
The next Ukulele Practice will be held on Monday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Happy practicing's until then!
Bobcaygeon Fair – September 30, 2023
Rev. Sharon Campbell-Rayment’s daughter Megan, is trick riding on the 30th of September (Saturday) – a new show called “Off Kilter Equine Horse Show” at 3:30 p.m. at the Bobcaygeon Fair. Come on out and enjoy her special talent!
Healing Pathway
Phase 1 Workshop will be taking place at Bridgenorth United Church on Sat., Sept. 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sat., Sept. 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Registration information is limited to 18 participants. that both nursing homes (Case Manor & Pinecrest) are much more accessible these days! You no longer need to set-up appointments, or need to wear a mask while inside. I’m sure the residence would enjoy a visit!

‘After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program
in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.
