Mary Fedy
Mary Fedy passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 surrounded by her family in her home garden. Mary’s “Celebration of Life” will be taking place on Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church in the Sanctuary. Reception will follow in Trinity Hall. Let us keep the Fedy family in our thoughts and prayers.
Jean Robertson
Jean Robertson from Case Manor passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Visitation and a Funeral Service took place at the Hendren Funeral Home, Bobcaygeon, on Friday, October 6th. Let us keep Jean’s family in our thoughts and prayers.
Gerald Harnden
Gerald passed away on September 7, 2023 and a “Celebration of Life” will be held on October 28th 2023 at the Port 32 Shore Spa in Bobcaygeon from 1:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. Let us keep Shirley and her family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Are you a Knitter or Crocheter?
We need people to knit or crochet mitten, scarves, hats for our Mitten Tree. The items are distributed to our community here in Bobcaygeon and Lindsay to places like our public schools, Curve Lake, Boys & Girls Club, Ross Memorial Hospital, A Place Called Home etc. before Christmas.
Ukulele Practice
The next Ukulele Practice will be held on Monday, October 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Happy practicing until then!
Spirit In Motion House Church
Will be taking place on Wednesday, October 25th at 10:00 a.m. at the home of Walter and Juanita Murray at Unit 13-17 Lake Wood Crescent. RSVP @ 705-738-5556.
Trinity and Providence New Church Directory
We are creating a new church directory. Pictures will be taken on Monday, October 30th and Tuesday, October 31st. The previous church directory was completed in 2014. Following the church service this Sunday, we will be booking portrait appointments for our church directory. A table will be set-up in the Narthex. Please book an appointment as the directory for Trinity & Providence is very important in our church life. If you're not able to be at church you may contact Cathy Bennett @ (705)738-4080 to book a time to have your picture taken.
Did you know …
that both nursing homes (Case Manor & Pinecrest) are much more accessible these days! You no longer need to set-up appointments, but will need to wear a mask while inside. I’m sure the residence would enjoy a visit! Since it is flue season, please call first to make sure they are not on lockdown.
Midweek Event UCW– “All Things Bright and Beautiful”
Taking place on Wed. Oct. 25th at Greenbank United Church with registration at 9:15 a.m. and program to start at 10:00 a.m. Cost for day including lunch is $25.00 with guest speaker Paul Oliver from Urban Nature. ‘After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program
in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.
Fall Clean-up and BBQ
Wednesday, October 25th at 10:00 a.m.
It’s that time again to do an outside clean-up of our church. Please bring your rakes and work gloves as we prepare our grounds before the snow flies. A BBQ fellowship time will follow. Bring your enthusiasm and your appetites! The Property Brothers

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 12 is the deadline for submissions to the Fall/Winter Carillon. I am looking for personal stories (and pictures) and reports of what your team or committee is doing. Please email your
submissions to me as an attached WORD document at suejpepper@yahoo.ca or put them in my mailbox.
The newsletters will be ready for distribution on Dec 1. Sadly, we have lost a few of our deliverers. If you can volunteer to deliver 5-10 newsletters to a specific area two times a year, please call (705-738-9633) or email me. Thank you, Sue Pepper
