A Request from our Prayer Circle
We are looking for people to join us every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Trinity’s sanctuary to pray for our congregation, community and wider world.
Many thanks to …
all the ladies who so diligently continue to work on knitting of Prayer Shawls. Your work means so much to those who are in need of comfort for their loved ones. Your designs are lovely. Mary Tomlinson
A Note from the Treasurer
As of March 31, 2026, Trinity has a year-to-date shortfall of $21,863.00. This means that the expenses have been that much more than the income. During the first 3 months of the year, there have been many challenges including the weather, people away on vacation and also sickness. Expenses rarely decrease, so this means that revenues have to increase to keep pace. If you are considering PAR (Pre Authorized Remittance) for the first time or hopefully increasing the amount from 2025 and have not done so, please speak with Cathy Bennett, the Envelope Secretary.
Needed - 500 ml Mason Jars
UCW ladies will be making chili sauce again in late August and we will need 500 ml Mason Jars. When you are Spring cleaning and come across any of those jars that you would like to donate, please bring them to the Church kitchen and I will periodically pick them up.
Many thanks, Olive Macoomb

HIGHLIGHTS FROM ECOR
May 14, 2026 is a focus on Indigenous Justice and Respectful Relationships through the Moose Hide Campaign. This is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement of men and boys— and all Canadians— who are standing up against violence towards women and children. Wearing this moose hide signifies your commitment to honour, respect and protect women and children in your life and to work together to end violence against women and children and all those along the gender continuum. Moose Hide pins are available in the narthex throughout the month of May, as long as supplies last.
Thank you.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Thank you so much for all your work in creating beautiful prayer shawls. This is such an important ministry, bringing a message of God’s love to those who are in need of comfort and encouragement. We are so thankful for your willingness to knit or crochet these shawls or lap blankets. At present, our collection is quite low. We are reaching out to you to ask if you might make a shawl or lap blanket in the next few weeks so that we can continue this ministry. A pattern for a simple shawl is available. Let me know if you would like it and I will send it to you. With much appreciation,
Carol Wells-Gordon, Prayer Shawl Coordinator.
