A Request from our Prayer Circle

We are looking for people to join us every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Trinity’s sanctuary to pray for our congregation, community and wider world.

A huge THANK-YOU to…

all the fabulous pie and tart bakers for all the delicious pies to make our fourth anniversary of becoming an affirming church a wonderful success. Despite the wintery weather all the pies were thoroughly enjoyed after church by many members of the congregation. I also want to thank everyone who took the time to set up Trinity Hall for the

pie event, including cutting the pies into individual pieces, the people who made the coffee and tea and everyone who took the time to clean up after the event. This event would not have been a success without all your hard work and dedication and I want each of you to know I truly appreciate each and everyone of you.

Thank you again,

Karen Foote

Thank you to everyone…

who contributed to making our PIE Sunday such a wonderful celebration-a thoughtful message, beautiful music, wonderful decorations, so many delicious pies and to so many helpers preparing before the service and cleaning up after our coffee/tea pie reception.

Many Thanks, Barb Carnegie

 BIG THANK-YOU TO…

Olive and Rick Macoomb and all the ladies who helped with the beef meat pie baking this past Thursday. It is wonderful hearing the cheerful voices, seeing the comradery and team work!

Frozen chicken & beef pot pies

are for sale to the Congregation on Sunday, March 29th (Palm Sunday) after the Worship Service.  The cost is $7.00 per pie.  I hope to see you there. Olive Macoomb

We have only 25 cookbooks left to sell and will have them available after the church service on Sunday, March 29th. Cookbooks can still be purchased at the church office during the week. We are grateful for the wonderful support! Connie Picken on behalf of the Cookbook Team.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Thank you so much for all your work in creating beautiful prayer shawls. This is such an important ministry, bringing a message of God’s love to those who are in need of comfort and encouragement. We are so thankful for your willingness to knit or crochet these shawls or lap blankets. At present, our collection is quite low. We are reaching out to you to ask if you might make a shawl or lap blanket in the next few weeks so that we can continue this ministry. A pattern for a simple shawl is available. Let me know if you would like it and I will send it to you.

With much appreciation,

Carol Wells-Gordon,

Prayer Shawl Coordinator.

SOLES 4 SOULS FOOTWEAR COLLECTION" UPDATE

Since we started this campaign and up to the end of December 2025, TUC Congregants donated 421 pairs of gently used footwear. The total from all sources was 672. We exceeded our original goal of 500 by some margin, and almost hit our revised target of 700. Our thanks to everyone who contributed to the campaign. We'll leave the box in the Narthex. It will be ready for the winter-to-spring shoe clean-outs! The BioPed team is in the Dominican Republic for our annual Canada Shoe Distribution trip. We bring gently used shoes to underprivileged communities. This journey is a powerful reminder of why collecting gently used shoes can empower communities.
