Recent news regarding the Omicron Covid Variant …

is being monitored carefully and the situation seems to change daily. This is a time for members of our community of faith to make personal decisions to protect their own health and safety during these difficult times. Trinity will remain open for Sunday services and livestreaming will continue Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Having options will allow individuals to chose what is best for them.

Until the number of cases of the Omicron Covid Variant subsides, we will have a self check in process in place in the Narthex on Sunday mornings. We will not be asking for volunteers at this time as we wish to keep everyone as safe as possible. The screening questions will be posted for you to read; individuals/families will personally sign the contact sheets (with sanitized pens); and you will then proceed into the sanctuary. We will have a committee member in the Narthex to assist you if necessary. Please remember to wear your masks, maintain a social distance of at least six feet and use hand sanitizer. Once again, thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to work through this situation together.

Best wishes to all those who have Birthdays and Anniversaries in January!

PLEASE NOTE: The Kawartha Mission in Lindsay are no longer collecting the plastic milk bags, therefore, please Do Not send in any more into the church.

Bob, Benjamin and Nicholas Murray would like to extend their thanks to everyone who participated at Susan’s “Celebration of Life”, which took place on Tuesday, December 21st. Your help and attendance were greatly appreciated.

A big thank you to Rev. Andrew and the Trinity church family for the prayer support that I experienced over the past months.

Thanks for the cards and phone calls which I received from the members of the Prayer Circle and Pastoral Care Committee. I now have a new heart valve thanks to the doctors at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket.

Many thanks to all, Joyce Jones

Those who supported the U.C.W.’s M.S. fund by purchasing Rev. Ed Bentley’s book “A Legacy of Unwavering Love”. We made $400.00 for M.S. as Rev. Ed Bentley donated the books. If you missed the opportunity to purchase a book, you can borrow and read the copy that he donated to our library. Thanks for supporting our U.C.W.

With the new year coming shortly, I’ll be preparing the 2022 envelope boxes which will be ready for pick up soon. I wanted to inquire whether you still would like to receive the offering boxes as usual.

Some have decided to continue with their offerings via e-transfer, some have decided to continue using their regular envelopes and some still are preparing monthly cheques. (PAR is always the preferred option.)

If you usually donate using offering envelopes and you would NOT like to receive a box of envelopes for 2022, please let me know, so that you may donate to the church using the method best suited to you.

Only those who would like to change their status, please contact me at:
