Prayer Request and Pastoral Care

If you have a prayer request, please call the church office at (705)738-5135 and we will pass your request through to our active Prayer Circle which meet every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary for prayer and our Pastoral Care Team.

A HUGE “THANK-YOU”!

An afternoon of Celtic Stories and Music with Tanah Haney, Edith Hawkins & Debra Northey was held this past Sunday. A HUGE THANK-YOU to our special musicians, Debra Northey, Edith Hawkins and Tanah Haney and all those who contributed to make this concert such a success. $2,025.10 was raised for our accessible washroom at Trinity!


Yard Sale at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon

A HUGE THANK-YOU to Cathy Bennett and her team of volunteers for the successful Yard Sale which took place this past Saturday, June 8th! Also, to those who where able to donate items to this most worthy cause of building an accessible washroom at Trinity. The final figure is $1,817.20!

Hand Drumming…

On August 4th and September 1st Trinity U.C. joins Providence U.C. for Sunday Services at 10:00 a.m. Trinity Church is closed on those two Sundays.


Still Needed – 500 ml. Mason Jars

I am still collecting 500 ml Mason Jars for the upcoming chili sauce making. At the moment, I have 170 jars and need another 60 jars. If you have any jars to contribute, I would appreciate them. A big thank-you to everyone who has contributed so far. Mark your calendars ladies as I have set the dates for making the chili sauce: August 29th, Sept. 3rd and Sept. 5th starting at 8:30 a.m. Lots of chopping and good fellowship. Providence United Church News

On Sunday, July 7th, Elizabeth Peeters will be preaching with the Knox Family providing the special music and with Mike Chell playing the organ. On July 14th, Pastor Yvonne Kendrick will be preaching with Victoria Ingram providing the special music and Carol Wells-Gordon playing the piano.


Knitting & Crocheting Group

Our Trinity Knitting & Crocheting Group will take a break for the summer and then return in the Fall to meet every other week on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Room at Trinity United Church to enjoy some pleasant socializing, a cup of tea and of course a little knitting or crocheting. See you in the Fall and all are welcome to attend!

Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank

Our family numbers are still increasing with more children.

The following food items would be welcome:

Juice Packs, cereal, Kraft dinner, rice, canned fruit juice, canned vegetables, pasta sauce in jars, peanut butter, canned stews, canned tuna, meat, canned fruit. Our Food Bank box is located in the narthex, or you can drop off items at our grocery store boxes. Your help is greatly appreciated!


Concerts in the Park 2024

Taking place on Thursday evenings in July and August by the lock in Bobcaygeon. Children’s Concerts start at 5:30 p.m. with the Main Concert starting at 6:30 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

July 18th, “Campfire Crew” and then “Montana Sky”

July 25th, “Cara Mitchell” and then “Emily Flack”

August 1st, “Dan the Music Man” and then “Michael Constantini”

Old Tomorrows”

After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program

in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.
