Following the church service this Sunday, we will be booking portrait appointments for our church directory. A table will be set-up in the Narthex. Please book an appointment as the directory for Trinity & Providence is very important in our church life. If you're not able to be at church you may contact Cathy Bennett @ (705)738-4080 to book a time to have your picture taken.

Are you a Knitter or Crocheter?

We need people to knit or crochet mitten, scarves, hats for our Mitten Tree. The items are distributed to our community here in Bobcaygeon and Lindsay to places like our public schools, Curve Lake, Boys & Girls Club, Ross Memorial Hospital, A Place Called Home etc. before Christmas. Please bring your knitting in by Friday, December 1st.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 12 is the deadline for submissions to the Fall/Winter Carillon. I am looking for personal stories (and pictures) and reports of what your team or committee is doing. Please email your

submissions to me as an attached WORD document at suejpepper@yahoo.ca or put them in my mailbox.

The newsletters will be ready for distribution on Dec 1. Sadly, we have lost a few of our deliverers. If you can volunteer to deliver 5-10 newsletters to a specific area two times a year, please call (705-738-9633) or email me.

Thank you, Sue Pepper

that both nursing homes (Case Manor & Pinecrest) are much more accessible these days! You no longer need to set-up appointments, but will need to wear a mask while inside. I’m sure the residence would enjoy a visit! Since it is flue season, please call first to make sure they are not on lockdown.

Award-winning author and activist Heather Menzies…

invites you into a conversation about her new book, “Meeting My Treaty Kin: A Journey Toward Reconciliation”. It's an intimate memoir about the kind of personal work that reconciliation requires, and the promise that

listening with respect holds for healing the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. At the Boyd Museum, 21 Canal Street, Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by TRC Bobcaygeon

A Travelling Library …

with books about Truth and Reconciliation is in the Fellowship Room. Please have a look, borrow and read and return by November 26. There are children's books, novels, and teachings about relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous people. Some of the books include: The Inconvenient Indian; 21 Things You Didn't Know About the Indian Act; Keeper and Me; Embers and many more. It's a great opportunity.

The UCW are collecting items for “A Place Called Home”. The items they are looking for are toiletries, dinner plates, bowls and forks. If you can help in this way, please let Lillian Partridge know or bring them into the church

office after our Christmas Bazaar.
