We are pleased to announce that Ashleigh Leonard is our new custodian. We welcome her as she begins her new position on April 22. Ashleigh comes to us highly recommended and with extensive experience in commercial cleaning.
We are so very grateful for all those who have stepped up to take care of cleaning our church during the time that we have not had a custodian. A sincere “thank you” goes out to everyone who has vacuumed, cleaned washrooms, swept and mopped floors, dusted and emptied garbage. Seventeen members of our congregation have maintained a high level of cleanliness over the past weeks. You are all appreciated!

SOLES 4 SOULS FOOTWEAR COLLECTION
Here is a chance to part with your 'gently used' footwear. A Soles 4 Souls collection box is in the narthex and if you have any gently used footwear items you would like to see go to an appreciative recipient(s) somewhere else in the world, please drop them off. If you have lots and would like them picked up instead, just call David Savournin at 705-738-1892 to make arrangements. (FYI…David and his group collected over 300 pairs of footwear in 2024 and are aiming for 500 in 2025!)
More information about this initiative can be found at https://soles4soulscanada.org/. A quick update on shoes... Another 81 pairs of 'gently used' footwear were delivered to BioPed in Lindsay this morning. That brings the TUC total to 117 so far! This is truly amazing. The team at BioPed were shocked by the number of shoes we've been able to collect in such a short time. We assured them that there are more to come!
