Mary Justice
Mary passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Let us keep Bud and the Justice family in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time of loss. More information will follow at a later date. Mary’s “Celebration of Life” will be taking place at Trinity United Church on Saturday, September 7, 2024 starting at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in Trinity Hall.

Yard Sale at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon
A HUGE THANK-YOU to Cathy Bennett and her team of volunteers for the successful Yard Sale which took place this past Saturday, June 8th! Also, to those who where able to donate items to this most worthy cause of building an accessible washroom at Trinity. $1,647.20 was raised!

Providence UCW
Providence UCW is meeting for lunch on Wednesday, June 26th at “Just for the Halibut” at 12:30 noon.

Come Out One and All!
Calling all those who love to sing or are musicians, to attend Choir practice not until Wed., June 26th at 2:00 p.m. If you play a musical instrument and would like to participate during Sunday’s Worship Service, please speak with Debra Northey.
Still Needed – 500 ml. Mason Jars
I am still collecting 500 ml Mason Jars for the upcoming chili sauce making. At the moment, I have 170 jars and need another 60 jars. If you have any jars to contribute, I would appreciate them. A big thank-you to everyone who has contributed so far. Mark your calendars ladies as I have set the dates for making the chili sauce: August 29th, Sept. 3rd and Sept. 5th starting at 8:30 a.m. Lots of chopping and good fellowship.

Providence United Church News
Providence has started up their church service again! On Sunday, June 23rd Evelyn Chambers giving the message and special music will be Susan Ryman with Joy Crawford as the Pianist. On Sunday, June 30th, Chyvonne Pancer will be preaching with Trinity’s Ukulele Choir providing the special music and with Mike Chell on the organ.
Knitting & Crocheting Group
Our Trinity Knitting & Crocheting Group will take a break for the summer and then return in the Fall to meet every other week on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Room at Trinity United Church to enjoy some pleasant socializing, a cup of tea and of course a little knitting or crocheting. See you in the Fall and all are welcome to attend!

Dunsford United Church - Strawberry Supper
Taking place on Wednesday, July 3rd as a take out only to be picked up at Dunsford Community Centre from 4 – 6 p.m. Preorder by phoning Gloria at 705-738-3694 to order a meal. Cost is $20.00 per person. More information on Trinity’s bulletin board.
Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank
Our family numbers are still increasing with more children.
The following food items would be welcome:
Juice Packs, cereal, Kraft dinner, rice, canned fruit juice, canned vegetables, pasta sauce in jars, peanut butter, canned stews, canned tuna, meat, canned fruit. Our Food Bank box is located in the narthex, or you can drop off items at our grocery store boxes. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Concerts in the Park 2024
Taking place on Thursday evenings in July and August by the lock in Bobcaygeon. Children’s Concerts start at 5:30 p.m. with the Main Concert starting at 6:30 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

‘After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program
in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.
