Come Out One and All!
Calling all those who love to sing or are musicians, to attend Choir practice on Wed., May 1th at 2:00 p.m. If you play a musical instrument and would like to participate during Sunday’s Worship Service, please speak with Debra Northey.
Knitting & Crocheters!
Our Trinity Knitting Group next get together will be Wed., May 1st at 2:00 p.m. and then every two weeks on a Wednesday. Enjoy some pleasant socializing, a cup of tea with some sweets and of course a little knitting or crocheting. Please join us at Trinity United Church in the Fellowship Room!
Ukulele Practice
There will be a ukulele practice on Monday, May 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Happy practicing till then!

Yard Sale at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon
We are planning to have a yard sale here at Trinity on Saturday, June 8th from 9:00am till 1:00pm with all proceeds going towards the accessibility washroom fund. If you have any gently used items you are not using anymore and would like to donate to the sale it would be appreciated. (no clothing please). All items will be collected here at the church the day before the sale Friday June 7th after 4:00 pm. If you have any questions or would like to help on that day please speak to Cathy Bennett. Supporting Palestine and Israel
***Folks are invited to wear white on Sunday, April 28 as a sign of solidarity and prayer for peace for Palestine and Israel.
***On Friday, May 3rd there will be a Pilgrimage Walk for Peace in Palestine and Israel. We will meet at the church at 1:45 p.m. and walk to Beach Park into the stone circle, pause for prayer and reflection and return to the church as we pray for peace in the Middle East.
Art Show by Catherine Junkin!
Raising funds for our new wheelchair accessible washroom here at Trinity. The Art show is taking place on Sat. May 4th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!
DISCUSSION GROUP: "THE BIBLE BEYOND RELIGION"
A discussion group on “The Bible Beyond Religion" will meet at Trinity for five Thursday mornings. The next meeting will be on Thursday, May 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Room. The author is Don Murray (brother of Walter) and this is the final of five books he has written to help us find meaning beneath the surface of stories. Some have signed up to attend this group, and some have a copy of the book. All others, with or without the book, are welcome to attend.

A time of Fellowship & Lunch on Thursday, May 16th, Arrival @ 12 noon, Lunch served @ 12:30 in Trinity Hall. We are looking forward to showing our Appreciation for all of the dedication and many hours spent preparing and making Trinity’s Meat Pies.
Spring Yard Clean-Up & Appreciation BBQ
Thursday, May 23rd @ 10 a.m., BBQ Lunch @ 12 Noon. Bring gloves, rake, trimmer and blower. Contact The Property Brothers - Armand or Jim if you are available to help!
Needed – 500 ml. Mason Jars
I am looking for 500 ml. Mason Jars for the chili sauce making in Aug./Sept. If you are Spring cleaning and are not using your jars any longer, please put them on the counter in the Church kitchen and I will periodically pick them up. Mark your calendars ladies as I have set the dates for making the chili sauce: August 29th, Sept. 3rd and Sept. 5th starting at 8:30 a.m. Lots of chopping and good fellowship.

Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank
Our family numbers are still increasing with more children.
The following food items would be welcome:
Juice Packs, cereal, Kraft dinner, rice, canned fruit juice, canned vegetables, pasta sauce in jars, peanut butter, canned stews, canned tuna, meat, canned fruit. Our Food Bank box is located in the narthex, or you can drop off items at our grocery store boxes. Your help is greatly appreciated!
‘After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program
in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.

High Tea Fundraiser at Cambridge United Church, Lindsay
On April 27th, we invite you to bring along a friend and indulge in our High Tea Fundraiser.
