Prayer Request and Pastoral Care
If you have a prayer request, please call the church office at (705)738-5135 and we will pass your request through to our active Prayer Circle which meet every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary for prayer and our Pastoral Care Team.
A Request from our Prayer Circle
We are looking for people to join us every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Trinity’s sanctuary to pray for our congregation, community and wider world.
A Note from the Treasurer
As of March 31, 2026, Trinity has a year-to-date shortfall of $21,863.00. This means that the expenses have been that much more than the income. During the first 3 months of the year, there have been many challenges including the weather, people away on vacation and also sickness. Expenses rarely decrease, so this means that revenues have to increase to keep pace. If you are considering PAR (Pre Authorized Remittance) for the first time or hopefully increasing the amount from 2025 and have not done so, please speak with Cathy Bennett, the Envelope Secretary.
Needed - 500 ml Mason Jars
UCW ladies will be making chili sauce again in late August and we will need 500 ml Mason Jars. When you are Spring cleaning and come across any of those jars that you would like to donate, please bring them to the Church kitchen and I will periodically pick them up. Many thanks, Olive Macoomb
Heartbeats United - Spiritual Hand Drumming
As we drum, we join in one heart, in one heartbeat, To God's heartbeat. We lay our hands upon the drum just as we lay our pure trust in God's palm. All are Welcome Anytime you wish. Drums provided. Mondays at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Please note: Uke Troupe …
All ukulele practices for the Uke Troupe will take place on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary and for the beginner group on Mondays at Sue Pepper’s.
Choir Practice – Calling on those who love to sing!

Update about our “Blessings from the Kitchen” Cookbook
A sincere thank you goes to our Trinity and Providence church families, plus people in our community, for the amazing sales of our cookbook, “Blessings from the Kitchen”. We have only 10 cookbooks left. Cookbooks can still be purchased at the church office during the week. We are grateful for the wonderful support! Connie Picken on behalf of the Cookbook Team.
ATTENTION CHAT GROUP!
Our "CHAT" group is now meeting the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at 10:00 a.m. in the Friendship Room. Come and join the conversation.
LIBRARY
The library is a work in progress. We have many new books and we have added puzzles! To borrow a book or a puzzle, take the card out of the book pocket, sign your name, add date and put the card in the white basket on the tea table in the Friendship Room. When you return the book, simply put the book in the white basket.
Thank-you, Sue Pepper
Coffee Volunteers Update
I have received some help for preparing coffee in November. So only 3 Sundays left to offer your participation: the dates are Sunday, November 15, 22 and 29. Please check your calendars and see if 1 or 2 of those dates would work for you. There are full instructions in the church kitchen: the preparation is very easy. Again, my thanks to everyone who is supporting this time of fellowship.
Thank-you, Carol Wells-Gordon

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Thank you so much for all your work in creating beautiful prayer shawls. This is such an important ministry, bringing a message of God’s love to those who are in need of comfort and encouragement. We are so thankful for your willingness to knit or crochet these shawls or lap blankets. At present, our collection is quite low. We are reaching out to you to ask if you might make a shawl or lap blanket in the next few weeks so that we can continue this ministry. A pattern for a simple shawl is available. Let me know if you would like it and I will send it to you. With much appreciation, Carol Wells-Gordon, Prayer Shawl Coordinator.

SOLES 4 SOULS FOOTWEAR COLLECTION" UPDATE
Since we started this campaign and up to the end of December 2025, TUC Congregants donated 421 pairs of gently used footwear. The total from all sources was 672. We exceeded our original goal of 500 by some margin, and almost hit our revised target of 700. Our thanks to everyone who contributed to the campaign. We'll leave the box in the Narthex. It will be ready for the winter-to-spring shoe clean-outs! The BioPed team is in the Dominican Republic for our annual Canada Shoe Distribution trip. We bring gently used shoes to underprivileged communities. This journey is a powerful reminder of why collecting gently used shoes can empower communities. Give Shoes. Give Love.
Your SOLES4SOULS Team,
David Savournin and Rick Mistelbacher.
