Announcements for the upcoming week

Please call the Church Office at (705)738-5135 or email at trinityprovidence1@gmail.com to receive confirmation of your booking. All functions in the church such as Committee and Council Meetings, must be booked ahead of date with the Office Administrator. It is imperative to book your rooms ahead of time because Covid protocols need be observed and numbers must be kept. We are only allowed 10people at one time in the entire building during the week except for church services.

Please Remember in your Prayers Those at home, in nursing homes and in hospital who are facing illness, bereavement and other life challenges. If you need prayer or would like to be part of a prayer group, please contact the Prayer Circle in confidence at (705)738-5135 (church office). Ron Flett …

passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Ron’s “Celebration of Life” will be taking place on Sat., Feb. 5, 2022 at Trinity United Church. You must RSVP at Hendren Funeral Home @738-3222 and must be fully vaccinated.

Covid protocols will be followed. The service will also be livestreamed on Saturday and then will be put onto YouTube. The link is: https://youtu.be/zgTKQV-IJxY . Let us keep Karin Kinsman and the Flett family in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time of loss.

A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY!

We are looking for volunteers to run the video/camera equipment as well as our Power Point presentations on Sunday worship services. No experience necessary and training will be provided. Come and learn a new skill and help out your church family at the same time!

Donations can also be offered through monthly preauthorized remittance (PAR) or E-transfers.

Reopening Committee News

The reopening committee continues to monitor information from the Ontario Government and our local Health Department. As of January 31, 2022, we once again will be allowed 10 people maximum indoors (i.e., staff, committee meetings, groups, etc.) and 25 people outdoors. Procedures for Sunday Services remain the same with our self-entry protocols in place. In-person Sunday Services and Livestreaming will continue. As new information becomes available, we will update our community of faith.

U.C.W. Meat Pie Making Update

It looks like pie making is on hold for a little while but stay tuned and I will let you know when it is safe to make pies again. So sorry. Sincerely, Olive Macoomb, UCW

News from the Knitting Group

New members are welcome as projects are created for shut-ins and various people in need. The Knitting Group meet every second Tuesday and the dates will be posted under “Special Activities This Week at Trinity”. Covid Protocols must be followed (signing the contact sheet upon entry, hand sanitizing, wearing masks and maintaining proper social distance). SOLOMON’S PORCH BIBLE STUDY

Solomon’s Porch Bible will start meeting again every Thursday in the Fellowship Room starting on February 10, 2022! Everyone is welcome to participate!
