Please call the Church Office at (705)738-5135 if you need to pick-up something up in the church, to arrange an appropriate time.

All functions such as Committee and Council Meetings may be done by Zoom, as the church is closed due to the recent lockdown.


Please Remember in your Prayers Those at home, in nursing homes and in hospital who are facing illness, bereavement and other life challenges. If you need prayer or would like to be part of a prayer group, please contact the Prayer Circle in confidence at (705)738-5135 (church office). This week please pray for Kedron: Oshawa United Church., East Central Ontario Region (ECO).

Let us keep the Beck Family in our Prayers

Anneke Beck’s brother, John Punter, passed away suddenly in Paris, Ontario. John’s celebration of life took place on Monday, Feb. 22nd. He was only 70 years old. Let us keep the Beck and Punter families in our thoughts and prayers as they through this difficult time of loss.

Let us keep the Picken Family in our Prayers

Connie's Father, Arnold Schell, passed away very peacefully on Tuesday, March 2nd in the afternoon around 4:00 p.m. Bev, Wes and Connie were with their Dad when he passed on. Please keep the Picken and Schell families in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time of loss.


Let us also keep the Jacket Family in our Prayers

June Jackett passed away on Tuesday, March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital. Let us keep the Jacket, Ingram, Prescott, Kimble and Kerr families in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of loss.

Congratulation to Anneke and Karel Beck!

Anneke and Karel Beck have become Great Grandparents, as of last week with the birth of a healthy baby girl!

Broadview Magazine Subscription

It is that time of year again! The cost this year is once again $25.00 for the year’s subscription of 8 magazines total (was 10 subscriptions last year but was reduced to 8, that is why it has remained at $25.00). If you are interested in subscribing or renewing your Broadview Magazine subscription you may send in your cheque for $25.00 to Trinity United Church, P.O. Box 426, Bobcaygeon, K0M 1A0 or you may bring in a cheque or cash to the church between Monday and Friday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.; except for on Thursdays, when we record our Sunday Services. We are starting a new Book Club!

Starting on Friday, March 12th we will be starting a new Lenten Study book entitled “The Jesus Sutras” written by Martin Palmer.

This will take place on “Zoom” every other Friday and we will send out the pages ahead of time for you to read. If you are interested in participating, please let Sue in the office know @ trinityprovidence@gmail.com.

Perhaps now is the time to think about joining the United Church of Canada’s PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) monthly program to ensure your contribution to the churches ongoing expenses are met. With the continuance of COVID-19 protocols, eagerly awaiting vaccine shots and the reopening of Bobcaygeon’s Trinity/Providence United Church, the church’s expenses go on. If PAR is something you’d like to join, please contact Kim Draper at - kim.draper.tuc@gmail.com or call her at 416-346-6902. The church accepts cash or cheques payable to ‘Trinity United Church’ and e-transfers as follows:


Procedure For E-Transfer

1. Senders must sign-in to their bank account.

2. Click on the e-transfer icon.

3. The recipient is Trinity United Church.

4. The email address is

5. Enter the total amount of the donation.

6. In the memo field, enter the specific designations of the

donation. E.g., For a $100 donation, general $70, M&S

$10, property $10, world development $5.

7. For the security question, use “church name”.

(do not enter quotation marks)

8. Answer “Trinity”. (do not enter quotation marks but use

capital T)

9. Send.
