If you have a prayer request, please call the church office at (705)738-5135 and we will pass your request through to our active Prayer Circle and Pastoral Care Teams.

News from the Knitting Group

The Knitting Group meet every second Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at the home of Karin Kinsman. We knit Prayer Shawls adults and children who need comfort, peace, and love as they go through personal loss, sickness, and grief. For further information about the Knitting Group, please contact Gail Lewis at 705-738-1279 or the church office for Karin’s address if you wish to join them.


Are you a Knitter or Crocheter?

We need people to knit or crochet mitten, scarves, hats for our Mitten Tree. The items are distributed to our community here in Bobcaygeon and Lindsay to places like our public schools, Curve Lake, Boys & Girls Club, Ross Memorial Hospital, A Place Called Home etc. before Christmas.


Did you know …

that both nursing homes (Case Manor & Pinecrest) are much more accessible these days! You no longer need to set-up appointments, or need to wear a mask while inside. I’m sure the residence would enjoy a visit!


Healing Pathway

Phase 1 Workshop will be taking place at Bridgenorth United Church on Sat., Sept. 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sat., Sept.30th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Registration information is limited to 18 participants. More information is located on Trinity’s bulletin board in the hall by the bathrooms.


Then Let Us Sing! – Bay of Quinte UCW ECOR

Annual Fall Workshop on Wed., Oct. 11th, 2023. Featuring “Then Let Us Sing” presented by Paul Sales who is the member of “Then Let Us Sing!” Development Committee. Registration with refreshments at 9: 30 a.m. Cost is $20.00 paid at the door of Frankford United Church located on 61 Mill St., Frankford. ‘After Words’ … is a new Bereavement Support Program

in Bobcaygeon offered by Kawartha Lakes Hospice. The group meets every first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:00 – 3:.00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon in the Fellowship Room. Please call Janice Craig, Hospice Bereavement Co-ordinator at 705-324-7323 x 553 for more information. Also, there is a poster with more information on Trinity’s bulletin board in the back hall.


Once in a Blue Moon!

A Fundraising Gala, for the Mishkodeh Project, is being held on Friday, August 25th, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Settlers Village, 85 Dunn Street, Bobcaygeon. The event includes dinner, concert and silent auction. The dinner takes place at 6:00 p.m. and the concert begins at 8:00 p.m. See the poster on the bulletin board for more detailed information.
